"hide and seek" or as i like to call it, white noise two, return of the crap

so i went to see this movie last night hearing it was well worth the price of the ticket. it had DiNiro, and looked like some creepy supernatural movie, so i though "why not, has to be better then white noise." WRONG

it starts off pretty well, and there is a LOT of potential (just like in white noise) until the PLOT TWIST. now normally a good plot twist will mess with your head and will improve to movie (such as fight club) but in the case of this movie, its just a lame attempt to save some money by not paying another actor to be the bad guy. the ending has the exact same style of ending as white noise, so if you hated that movie, DON'T SEE THIS ONE.

This movie was a total rip off of "The secret window" with Johnny Depp.

This movie sucked.

they just made the father have split personalities, and he killed his wife after all, so he is the good guy and his daughters imaginary friend (OOOO what a twist). then the dad's assistant kills the dad, and adopts the daughter, and at the very end of the movie, you find out the daughter has a split personality too, WOW, OOOOO, SCARY...

scary movies just arent as good to watch anymore with all the plot twists that usually end up hurting the movie that seems to have at least some potential.

they always seem to look good in the previews lol. but i guess thats pretty much the whole movie sometimes.

....Meh, I actually liked Hide & Seek more than I did Secret Window, but yeah, White Noise definitely was disappointing in the end. It had so much potential, then it just fell apart in the last few minutes. Even more disappointing is that so many movies that have been hyped up to be scary horrors by their respective teasers only turn out to be mild suspense films or creature feature shoot-em up's. Boo. The only things I've seen of late that were truly creepy to me were The Grudge and The Ring. Speaking of the latter, has anyone seen the trailer for the sequel to it yet? Looks kinda offbeat to me when you compare it to the first.... somehow I get the feeling the first will still be better, but of course I'll probably end up seeing Ring 2 anyway just cuz my curiousity will get the better of me.

saw a teaser to the ring 2 doesnt really explain much but it should be pretty much the same as the japanese version

This movie was o.k. i really like deniro and horror/suspence flicks, but i ll have to agree with everybody who said it's a total rip off of secret window. 5/10 i would rate it.

3/10 this movie really did suck , I was expecting some crazy ass creature to be the bad guy , or something that controlled everyone in the town.
