It's not completely horrible but I don't know if I like it either.

It's border line. It's sort of boxy looking. The rear tailights are sort of weird looking as well but I've seen worse.

That's not what it will look like. When ford brought out the mach 3 it was hideous, but the new body for 94 looked almost nothing like it.

There are very few cars in which the concept looks almost exactly like production. PT cruiser and SS-R are two exceptions that come to mind.

I don't like what the domestic companies are doing. If you're going to bring back a classic car...bring IT back, not your rendition of something that is "modernized"...but that's just my opinion.

It seems to be a trend. Mercedes (SLK's at least), Nissan 350Z, and Audi TT.. beefy and high hood, very very high shoulder lines - but this one takes the cake. Can you imagine how poor visibility is? Can't see out of the car properly, and it also raises the center of gravity. I think it looks absolutely ridiculus. Like a parody of a car, or toy car, the kind that is greatly exaggurated.

Yeh, another car with poor visibility is the Tiburon. I could barely see out of that thing...that thing was too big outside, and not big enough inside.

Are you sure you raised the seat up, you shorty?! Just kidding!

Well, it's hard to tell for sure how visibility is on cars. The more supercar status a car has, the worse it's visibility seems to be. But the NSX is one and it looks like it has pretty good visiblity.

One way to measure up front is to have a friend walk in front of the car while one sits in it, having him stand exactly where the driver can see the feet. Then just measure on the ground how far that is. The shorter the better. Can do this in any direction, measure, and get a pretty good idea.

I'm not short, I'm 5'6", but they do have quite the sloped windshields. Besides, the Tiburon isn't a very good car anyway, I didn't like the hydraulic clutch and the Shiftronic shifting (Guided manual transmission). I want to feel (clutch), and control (shifting) my car as much as I can.

    .....

    HOW DARE YOU?

YOU WILL TAKE IT, AND YOU WILL LIKE IT.
lol though I was just commenting on the looks of the pics of that car, not your taste or anything.

    --------

Calalalarina - 5'6" is just average. I'm sure the car makers make seats go up higher than that.

It's actually kinda neat, another new look for the Mustang. From the side it looks similar to the new Viper, in that its been hammered flat. A LOT less bulges here and there.... for the Viper it was a crappy move, I think the Viper's curves were hardcore. As far as looks go, this Mustang looks like its targeting the Corvette-type people... final performance may not be Corvette class though.

Can't really judge the rear yet, but it looks like its going to be 3 red lights for left and right.... I sure as hell hope they change that crap. If the front is like that concept illustration, the front kicks ass.
