,not great news, but some good may come of this. lets hope this leads to an exquisite line of supercars.
well i am slightly disapointed, but the chances that i would be able to touch one of these cars let alone own one are pretty fuckin rare, so i can't say i'll miss them
yeah i was never a big fan of the SLR, i like the SL65 BI-TURBO alot better

Not trying to be an ass... but i question the validity of the article, can anyone find out the source to this?
consider Merecdes owns 40% of TAG Mclaren Group, I dont think there's a finanial/marketing conflict between the two...
^^ Sorry TM, I have no source.
This shouldn't affect the F1 team apparently... that's a different venture (if true).

ya, i mean, they are basiclly one company now, Rod Dennis owns another 30% and TAG 30%. What will Mclaren ever do without mercedes.
Plus its such a huge project on the SLR, and with the new Mclaren Technology Center fully operational recently, I cant see this happening.
Mmk. I think they said the SLR was going to be unaffected, then the other projects McLaren was working on (a 430 rival and a real supercar, like the CGT or Enzo) were going to stay at McLaren.
You know more about M-B though, so I guess it's not true.

Damn man that suck!!! Two of my fav. companies going seperate ways.
I dont think its true, i cant find anything supporting it on the net
Yea same here, i can't find anything else to support that
I saw this on another forum a few days ago. Trying to find the link.
I'm calling fake.
Google News has no news at all regarding the relationship dissolving, and an announcement like this would be critical for investors.
Not to mention that none of the Daimler websites have a press release.
there doesnt appear to be an author or news agency, like everyone else i say its

Didn't say they dump MCL but it does seem to support the claim...
