Liberty Diesel - Distribution problems???

Hey all! I've heard somewhere that Daimlerchrysler will have distribution problems with the CRD due to the technology used in the VM Motori Motor (like the Sprinter vans, only select dealerships will have the franchise to sell them!?!?!). Has anyone heard???

Haven't heard much lately about the Liberty diesel. Its odd because there was a bunch of buzz about it and now that it should be starting to appear, there's nothing. I did hear though that they are only offering it with an automatic for some reason...that's really disappointing; it would be a great off-road performer with a decent manual transmission, but instead its just going to be another soccer mom grocery-getter....
