I grew up with only my family making it. (french family) I have tried NYF, KFC, A&W, Burger King. Not one did I find good. Anyone know a place in edmonton that is as good as the stuff from Quebec? Last time i was in montreal had it at that DeCarie place. My god it is the best poutine i have ever had

anything more then a handfull is a waste.

I'm a big fan of KFC Poutine, but also like the poutine from Harvey's.

I Love Rocky's. Haven't tryed their poutine yet though.

I had poutine from Dairy Queen in Invermere BC. It was damn good. I don't know if it would be as good here though.
    Also Gino's @ westbrook!

I used to go to BK for poutine, but now they give you such a small amount and it is always to salty!

I don't mind the poutine's from BK as well, but that gravy they use is absolutely odd.

    Quebec is the poutine capital.
they make it with fresh potato fries, none of this fastfood chain crap fries. and mounts of cheese and gravy
I remember a couple of years ago when poutine was finally making it big. One of the canadian news channel went to a small town where the average person ate poutine at least 3 times a week.

Man! I could go for some La Belle Province/Lafleurs/Decarie Hotdog (these are the 3 best spot to go in Montreal) french fries, with a couple of steamies right about now
