im guessing the mods can take points off trolls and such so it'll be easier to recognize who they are.

Its pretty simple.

Everyone's rating begins at 100%. This rating can only go down, nothing you do will ever make it go back up. Any rule violation will result in that number going down, some violations will result in larger penalties than others. Once it reaches a certain point, the user will be banned.

We are slowly trying to remove those that serve no purpose for the site.

is there gona be some sorta reset time every yr or smthn?, i think it should be reset every now and then, cuz the ppl who have been here for a long time or post more than others might get dinged more than others....so maybe resetting it regularily will work better?...

I think any user we catch who gets banned and then resigns on should automatically start at like 50%. Just so they know that we know they're going to act the fool! Why should fuck ups get a clean slate?

if you have no reason to be dinged percentages, then you should not have to worry about a periodic reset...
