Default Quest Mystique 7-Speaker Home Theatre Package

I am thinking of purchasing these from futureshop and was wondering if anyone owns/has heard/has anything to say about them. They are on sale right now at futureshop packaged with a Yamaha amp for $599. They are a nice looking speaker they have a glossy black finish.

They sound pretty nice, speakers are from the same company as jbl, and harmon kardon. Just a heads up, the sale is over thursday, and they are sold out at coventry allready.

Where does it say they are the same as JBL which is Harmond Kardon.
Why would jbl make two entry level speakers they already have the northridge series.

I would go to futureshop and listen to them, if they sound good there they will sound better at home.

But if they sound bad buy them anyways, you have 30 days to return them if you do not like the sound of them at home.

They look good, im sure they sound decent.

    Well he lied to you.

I just contacted my friend in cali who works directly for JBL and he says they have no ties with quest.

Was it by any chance a futureshop employee saying he s a rep to tri to sound important.

Its ok, its not your fault you were miss informed.

But im sure they are decest speakers. I just hate when they have those so called "reps" saying that quest speakers are designed by JBL but the put a lower end name on it so they can charge less.

Think about it Jbl design and build speaker and put a lowend name on it. Its like sony making dvd player and selling them as Mintek or rca.

What I think happened was JBL/Harmond Kardon had a stock pile of old drivers and sold them cheap, but put in a speaker box and using a crossover from quest.

lol let's report that stupid rep >.<

the speakers look pretty nice tho
but honestly if it sounds gd to you than it's all gd
i always go by the rule that if i can't hear the difference (like between a 10,000 or a 7,000 set) than i'd go w/ the lower set

I apoligize, it was actually the infinity and HK rep. Found this out during a vendor fair at future shop, in home theater, where I work.

I don't know about the speakers, but I can vouch for the amp! Great sound for the price!
