wow, Alfonso took down Peter. It was a great fight. I think this is one series I will really enjoy watching.

Yeah it's very interesting. Tonight's fight was pretty good. I was a bit surprised to how Alfonso stepped up.

This is definitely a sweet reality show to catch my attention for now, way better than the last boxing one with De La Hoya.

and I read about that in the Calgary Sun today, thats why the show had a later release. also because of that shitty ass boxing show with Oscar.

I was conflicted during the fight.

On one hand there's Manfredo. Who in my opinion looked like one of the strongest. They made him out to look like a great person. So I was rooting for him.

On the other hand is Gomez. I NEVER would've thought a fight would turn out the way it did. I had a feeling that a big underdog was going to win one of the first few fights (just because of the way it had been advertised), but nowhere in my mind that the Gomez v. Manfredo fight would be it. As always, cheer for the underdog, and it was damn good how he stepped it up.

I only watched the fight and thought it sucked. The boxing was good, but I hate how they add music and keep showing people in the crowd.

I thought it was very well done.
I thought it was cool how they showed the family scenes with Manfredo - i got hyped up and wanted him to win for his lil girl. and then there was Gomez with his family and I wanted him to win too for some good ol' family pride...
damn i was torn while watching both fight.

this is going to be one of the greatest series ever! They actually have good fighters and not a bunch of nobodys. I am hooked. Plus Rocky is the shit!

Alfonso is the man honestly. Ische fought Alfonso in 2001 and beat him, and he said it was the hardest fight hes ever had in his life. No one believed in Alfonso but Ische! haha, now theyre roommates. But yeah, i really agree that its good that they actually have fighters that arent nobody's.

On another note, we should make our picks. Im going to wait for the Thursday episode before i make mine, only because we havent seen much of anybody else yet. Im really curious to see how Juan does.

haha ya thats what i went through too but his wife made me mad so i cheered for Gomez haha
