Would one access port work on multiple wrx's?

Or does it become ECU dependent after its first usage?

no, it only works on one car at a time. if you wanna use it on another wrx, you have to "un-marry" it.

    Awesome thanks for the info.

I'm looking at getting a WRX soon but just gonna hold out and see what the 06's will look like......its pretty certain that the engine will go to 2.5 and the 2.0L engine will be gone from the whole subaru line up

2.5 is what the legacy uses so i'm also gussing on a good amount of hp increase / lower end torque due to the extra displacement....

only a few more months of wait

The 2006 should be out anytime now. Probably in a couple of weeks.

The 2.0L engine is probably only disappearing from North America, not the whole Subaru line up.

The STi in Japan, Europe and Australia still uses a 2.0L. I can't see that changing because of homologation for WRC. But I could be wrong.

Yeah I was implying the Subaru line that we have access 2

Maybe i should of made that more clear haha....

I'm hearing that it will be around July/August time that it should be released....and that the 06's won't be in production for long, like 10 months...then the reampped 07's will come out....but again Subaru is being hush hush on it!

Ughh I wish I had enough for an STi haha.....financing this WRX is gonna be a 'female dog'...but gonna be well worth it thats for sure!

so you resurrect a 1.5 year old thread to ask a question in which the thread had no subject of in the first place?

Also since then we have gotten our own Subaru Specific forum. Look in there and post your question in its own thread.
