    Default Speedo calibration

    anyone know where i can get this done? i just got bigger tires...about 2.5 inches bigger..anyone know how much my speedo is gona be off? is it even worth it to get it calibrated?

    im not sure what kind of difference it will make to the accuracy of your speedo, but if your not sure and wanna get it check out i recommend Mr.Speedometer. you can look them up in the phone book, they deal with just speedo's!

    yep mr. speedometer.. i think is about 140$

    you could buy a hypertech power programmer 3 and that will do it. it can also change shift points and take away the speed limiter.

    50 for a speedo check - not calibration.

    Post your old tire size and new one - that way, I can find out the difference in speed. Usually its very very minimal.

    does anybody have the link to the tire size caculator on a miata fourm? (i hate doinging all the math)

    The difference on 4X4s tends to be a lot bigger, because it generally isn't a couple millimeters of rolling diameter being added with bigger wheels, its a couple of centimeters or more.
    Drag racing is for fast cars. Solo 2 is for fast drivers.
