    Default .scr emails

    Anyone getting these lame "Check out this screensaver" or "hot sexy screensaver" emails? They come with a *.scr attachment that is 45kb. I am certain it's a virus. I just find them annoying...

    Anyone else get these as much as I do?

    My computer is infected with it - and it keeps sending emails to the people who are in my outlook.

    It is a virus.

    www.mcafee.com

    download the new virus definitions and then go into your registry and clear out the string.

    YEa its a virus, girlfriends stupid friends downloaded it, and now I get about 20 in my inbox each day ......

    i got tons, im pretty sure i have it, i also have norton 2002 installed then got 2003, but its still there

    Hmmm, so if you're getting them repeatedly you have the virus? I haven't opened them, but my lil sis probably has, I get like 15 of them every damn day.

    Im getting them too, like 10 a day in my hotmail. All kinds of different subjects and senders but all have a .SCR attachment thats about 46-47kb. I tried to set a filter to delete messages with attachments that size, but hotmail is GHEY so it wont do it.

    I was gettin TONS of those!...all i did was "block" that email address, and so far they have dissapeared ..although im sure some other retard (step brother mainly) in my house has opened some of them.

    If you have Norton and it's not doing anything, the reason behind that is you don't have the new definitions for that virus. Just goto symantec.com and download the virus definitions for that virus, theres step-by-step instructions on how to get rid of the worm.
