haha thats good, restaurants dont even need your signature for a bill, as long as they have a copy of the recipt it doesnt matter, half the time ppl dont sign but they get charged anyway

that's hilarious. scary and sad though that no one cares to look at the signatures. Maybe this is just in the states? I never have that problem here in calgary........or at least i hope i don't. i'm going to take better notice now.

I wrote in black sharpie on the back of my card SEE ID, yet of all the times I've used my card, I've had it checked twice. I used to always check when I worked at CT, I don't know what is wrong with people these days. Also, they have to have your signature on the reciept, if they don't you can just tell the CC company it was fraud, they have to have oyu on camera to prove otherwise. That guy could've chargedback ALL that stuff and he wouldn't have had to pay a dime.

I read that page a while back and decided to try what he did.

At superstore I drew a house and a smiley face, nothing.

At the home depot I just drew a line, nothing.

At crappy tire i signed "signature", he asked for ID.

i actually have the signature strip on my credit card scraped right off and no one has so much as hesitated to take it

i refuse to sign cards as a protest to the idea of it being a useful security measure

do you realize credit and debit cards are different and you dont need to sign debit cards??
