    Default interesting looking turbo

    found a few pics of this turbo, any idea on why its designed like this???

    ya thats gotta be some V6 or V8 turbo, never seen it before must be from some euro V8 truck.

    That turbo is most likely off a large 10cy+ diesel genset or something
    Machining, Fabricating, Welding etc.

    Yup thats an industrial diesel turbo.i think some Detroits use Schwitzer turbos.Should have taken some pics of a frac pumper I was working on this summer,had a similar setup.Hows about a 50 liter V12 QUAD turbo Detriot. each turbo was fed by 3 cyls.

    I'm sure with that much displacement they didnt have a problem spooling up
