paint costs
hey,
well i know we have talked about a good place to get the car re-painted but i have never accually see what the prices are. I am hoping to get my car re-painted phoenix yellow or sunburst yellow in feb and well i would like to know how much you guys have paid to get your whole car re-done. well thanks in advance.

jdmakkord, i am putting it back to the stock light and getting rid of the neon if it gets painted.

depends how good of a paint job you want...
but shop around ask people who have got there cars re-done... youll be surprise at how cheap some people get there cars done.

Hmmm.... $4-5k seems a bit steep.... maybe if there was alot of pearl/candy schemes used.
I'd say a decent job will run about $2k, but it really depends on where you go.

I've been to Marinellos (sp?) and Exotic Cars recentley about having them paint my car said it would be around $5000 thats painting the door/trunk/hood jams a different color as well. Also went to Dons wheels of time and for his paint jobs are around $7-8000, he actually uses air craft paint he was telling me. Some strong stuff, he was showing some samples to me.

Anyways, you could find paint jobs really vary from place to place -with some starting at around 500 all the way to god knows how much. If you have zero body work needed, no rust etc, then actually you could get a maaco job and get away with it because they do some alright splash jobs. If you need something better, look at spending 2k+
