Default How to check repaired damage

    Hi all
I had a damaged to passanger side of front end of 97 honda civic. the corner was pushed 3.5" in and 3" up.
Now, the car has been repaired. How can I check if the wheel line is correct or repair has been done properly?
If I take this car for wheel alignment, can it detect any problem if the wheels are out of specs?

    Please reply with your suggestions.

wheel alignment is the way to go, if there is structural damage , they wont be able to do the alignment

A wheel alignment will be able to detect any damages not repaired. A setback reading of the wheels will tell if that side is still pushed back. You can also take a look and see if there are any bare or heavily undercoated areas, there may be some buckles or weld marks left to indicate that the repairer didn't do the job properly. When a repair shop does a shoddy job they quite often leave a lot of undercoating to hide their repairs. Also check the alignment of the headlights, the hood to the fenders and the fenders to the doors. If a frame sway still exsists it will show up in these alignments.
