help! dead mouse!

my mouse is fricken dead!! does anyone have any idea what might be wrong with my logitech cordless optical mouse?

basically, i cant move the cursor or click and it basically seems like my mouse isnt connected.

windows can see it when i plug it in thru usb, but the logitech software cant tell what model it is (it normally can)....ive tried turning the comp on and off with it plugged in and unplugged, switching usb ports, using the connect button, swearing at it, punching it.....just nothing works

J/k, yeah dude, does the mouse have batteries? if not, do you have a back up of anykind till u get a new one???

Change the battery or try hitting the reconnect button on the bottom.

Ummm change your battery...
Make sure its a 1.5V AA not a 1.3V AA or it WONT WORK.
Second, hit reconnect on the receiver and then on the mouse...

anyway, i spent about 45 minutes turning my comp on and off, checking the batteries, doing the connect thing, and nothing worked.

finally i got new drivers and it worked. whooooo.
