"I think you may want to explore other options before installing a turbo charged system onto your Prelude. A supercharger perhaps?"

well, i think it would be incredibly presumptuous to think that "almost everyone" has firefox now, but it does say on their page that it will work on others too.
If by "everyone" you mean 5% of internet users then yes, everyone uses it! haha.Originally posted by /////AMG

5% is a bit high. Here's this week's stats.
Ooooh, firefox broke 1.50% this week with a staggering leap to 1.51%!!!

isn't Netscape based on Mozilla? Isn't firefox based on the same?
therefore technically the same browser?

In 1998 Netscape open sourced its browser and created Mozilla.org to handle developement of that project. The Mozilla name comes from the fact that the Netscape browser was once code named Mozilla before its release as Netscape. Not long after, AOL and Sun bought what remained of Netscape Inc., with AOL getting the Netscape name and the NetCenter portal and Sun getting Netscapes server products.
The Mozilla foundation (which until recently was funded by AOL,but is now an independent organization) then decided to scratch the existing antiquated Netscape 4.x code and begin with all new code, resulting in the Gecko rendering engine which is still used today by both the Mozilla and Firefox browsers. Netscape 6/7 is based on Mozilla and Gecko, not the other way around. Netscape is simply an AOL/Netscape branded version of Mozilla. Anyone can "brand" the Mozilla browser as long as you abide by the license agreement.
A couple of years ago the Mozilla foundation (Mozilla.org) realized that the Mozilla's code was too bloated (Apple passed on Mozilla and chose Safari because of this) and that a rework was needed to compete in new markets, especially the embedded browser market. They needed a browser that was small enough (around 4mb's or so, like Opera is) to fit on small devices (cell phones, pda's, etc) as well as one suitable for embedding in other types of electronic devices. This is why FireFox was developed and why the email client and browser were separated. (Nokia just recently funded Mozilla.org with seed money to develop MiniMo (mini mozilla) for possible use in Nokia phones.)
See MiniMo: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/minimo/
Mozilla.org will continue to co-develop both Mozilla and Firefox for a while, but will eventually scrap Mozilla in favor of just Firefox. Mozilla will probably only go as far as a 2.0 release, as FireFox is smaller and leaner as well as also being XUL (pronounced as "zool") based. The official finished 1.0 release of FireFox is due on November 9th.

Is there anything like this for firefox?
I use the riteoftounge extension, but for that you need to right click on every individual word, is there anything that checks an enire box of text at once?
