Im really suprised Cro Cop didnt go into the fight more aggressivly:

He had more then a few opportunities to catch Fedor, and he didnt.

He did look a bit nervous around him

That fight was crazy. Fedor absolutely dismantled Crocop.

Fedor's strategy was awesome. Circle to the left and move forward. He stayed too close to CroCop and stayed away from the big leg. He totally pressured Crocop, and Crocop couldn't handle it.

When my GF and I were talking about the fight, we figured that would be the best game plan for Fedor, since CC has a very narrow distance and pace he likes to fight in. I just don't know why Crocop didn't have an answer to it. You'd think he'd know Fedor might try that, hell, my non-fighting GF figured that's what he'd do.

IMO Crocop kept waiting for the perfect oppertunity to strike (as always), but Fedor's movement squashed that. What I think Crocop should have done is come forward and throw down. Sometimes you have to make the opennings instead for waiting for them. Once on the ground, I don't think CC could have done anything else. He is way out of his league.

As for CC gassing, well, sometimes that happens when you are getting your ass kicked, no matter how good of shape you're in.

Hard to believe at one time, Joe "Diesel" Riggs fought as a heavyweight taking on guys like Cabbage Correira in his career. Now the slimmed down version of the "Diesel" fights at 185. That was until this next UFC. Riggs will be making his debut at 170 at the next UFC!

According to the Administrator of Tito Ortiz’ website, TitoOrtiz.com, the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion has been offered a contract to fight for PrideFC:

“PrideFC has officially stepped up and offered Tito Ortiz a 6 fight deal. At this time nothing has been signed, but for all those doubters out there on whether or not anyone wanted to sign Tito to fight, put that in your pipe and smoke it.

This is factual information gathered from Tito regarding contracts that were received the week of September 19 from PrideFC. Not a rumor.”

There has been no word yet as to whether or not Tito has or will sign the contract with Pride. The last time that Tito spoke with MMAWeekly, he was looking forward to fighting again soon and also looking at starting up his own MMA promotion. Obviously, if he signs with Pride, this would shake things up a bit.

Tito won his last two fights in the UFC, against Patrick Cote and Vitor Belfort, but could not agree on a new contract. Following his departure the UFC basically erased nearly all references to the former champion from their website.

Following a tremendously successful opening two rounds of their first ever Lightweight Tournament, Pride could be looking to Tito Ortiz to be their key to their long-discussed entrance into the American market.
