Ya, there were a few "show offs" last week. I swear the mini mini van (4 door golf) taught me not to drive like an idiot.

Just while we are on the topic of Chinook mall, A few of us with low rider trucks went for a cruise 2 weeks ago and after all the traffic lights we re-grouped in the Chinook mall parking lot.
We waited till the last guy in our group showed (5 mins) and were on our way out when the city police showed up. They were saying that Chinook doesn't want "groups of cars gathering in the parking lot".
I just thought that I would pass that on.

well, we've been meeting at the Chinook parkade since 2002 and have never been asked to leave before (except for that one incident where there was a fight and we were asked to not come back for 4 weeks), and during the summers the security guards come and hang out and shoot the shit with us once in a while.

If this is true, then people should be making an extra effort to show Chinook Center that we can hang out there responsibly without causing them any problems.

PLEASE people, like Toms-SC said, use some common sense! I don't want to lose our meeting spot.
