I'm looking at getting a good and cheap bike to learn on(and to get around cheaply.)
I don't want a rocket or anything, just something decently quick and easy to learn on before I get anything huge.
Price _IS_ a factor.

Dude, get one of those Honda Moped thingys, top speed 80, can't go on Deerfoot, etc. Those are fun! My friend had one and we drilled out the exhaust, it was frickin' LOUD!

I guess my statement only refers to their cars.
That's a nice bike.
How much hp does that thing have?
dunno but with a nearly 1.2L engine and under 500lbs... it'll go like stink
still a kawasaki fan though
The new Kawa SV650's are reasonably priced and are not rockets.. I think they're a v-twin so acceleration is pretty smooth. They however do not come with a full fairing which is a turn-off to alot of crotch rocket guys... I think on a $0 down purchase the monthly pymt. worked out to under $200. Or you could buy an older EX250 (Ninja) or an older Interceptor. In any event, go talk to GW Cycle... They seemed to be the friendliest and their prices are decent.Originally posted by bol
