Default How do you remove oil from asphalt?

Hello, I have a lot of oil infront of my house, tons of it just dried over the asphalt over a few car legths.

I tried BEAR degresser from home depot (paid 60 dollars) and other things. I am able to rmove it from concrete but not from older asphault. The type used in the 50's and 60s

Any help would be appericated. thank you
I dont mind buying serious heavy duty stuff. I even have a 3500 PSI pressure washer but that wont do it. I need something to eat oil. Environment friendly stuff so far didnt work.

I always used a wire/metal brush, and just scrubbed the shit out of it.

Always worked, same as the garage floor.

    It will work.
    good luck

Gasoline is one of the best things you can use to clean oil & deposits and works really good for intercooler cleaning.

Makes me wonder why people buy fuel injection cleaner.

Brake Clean works well. Less harmful on your skin than gas if you accidentally get some on your hands.

Angry Re:How do you remove oil from asphalt?

Whenever I look for cleaning products, I look for ones that are non toxic, so when I was looking for an oil stain remover, I picked up Oil Gone Easy Home & Driveway S-200. I came to know that it uses Bioremediation to clean up oil stains and it’s completely biodegradable. It worked pretty well on my concrete floor as well. It’s a cool product. For more information visit oilgoneeasy.com

Haha, I don't mind these random bumps from the dead, sometimes I get to read an informative thread I wouldn't otherwise...
