    Default Anyone else seen the aircraft around here for G8?

    Saw a few army helicopters yesterday above deerfoot mall and today I saw about 8 (yes, 8) planes just like those out of pearl harbour that the japanese flew, complete with flag and all.

    was pretty cool seeing the eight of those fly over the hill.

    I saw 3 helicopters flying around the city yesterday afternoon. They were out again early this morning. They flew right over my house and woke me up.

    I saw two green army helicopters flying right above the rooftops in rundle a few days ago. Just meters above, assholes woke me up!

    Yeah those 8 old lookin planes went RIGHT over my house, scared the shit out of me. Constant rumbling for like a minute.

    Also saw 4 helicopters in a straight line flying together and saw a crazy jet or something like 2 days ago (going damn fast and looked like a fighter jet)

    I haven't seen any aircrafts. I did see police escorts and protester beatings downtown yesterday though. I don't know if the prostester beating was just staged for practice or not. Also, there was a cop with a cop dog at every corner when I was there too.

    Why don't you read the news papers man!? The President is landing Air Force One in Montana and two helicopters (one carrying him) are taking him here.

    And why are you so surprised that Bush would he not come to the G8 Summit? Is the US not part of the "Great 8" countries? hmm THATS a hard one.....
