you can't shift a semi any faster than about two seconds without it grinding...if you count to yourself one and two and, that's how long it takes to shift. clutch in on one move gear into neutral, clutch out on and, clutch in and move shifter into gear on two let clutch out on and(at least that's how my class one instructor taught it...worked pretty good)

They check if everything is properly connected - you need a radiator overflow, tied down battery, decent tires. That's about it.

what's to learn? pull up on the e-brake, rev to 5k dump the clutch...voila. on the water box you won't move much, but on your street you'll probly drag your back tires along...

and nah...neighbours love tire smoke...

actually if thats all you do slicks won't get anywhere near hot enough to be effective. 2nd gear minimum and 3rd gear prefered to heat them up enough to be sticky

thats one big burnout, the onyl car of mine that could do a 3rd gear burnout was my old mx6
