ok, so ive got a package of "fresh uncooked beef and pork breakfast sausage" in my fridge that i want to make. i know i could just throw them in a frying pan with some seasoning, but does anyone have any fancy ideas?

i like my sausages to taste good.

Make chili with your beef and for your sausages...fry them in maple syrup...sounds gross, but SOO good

    OR

Make a spaghetti sause using the beef and fry the sausages and chop them into large pieces and add them in there...another good taste

I find frying them in a bit of butter with diced onions works best. Make sure you drain the fat at least twice, poke em a few times to help the fat in dripping out. Cover and cook at medium heat, then for the last 10 mins or so crank up the heat and sear em. That's my favorite way. When searing there's gonna be a lot of boiling grease that will hurt if it pops up in your face, so cover them here as well and keep shifting the pan so they get seared all around.

Sausage in small/medium amounts chopped to a desired size can make omlettes delicious, also experiment with spices. If you want to be ghetto just put sausages wrapped in white bread or a hot dog bun served with yellow mustard if you like. If you like onions saute or fry them.

I can also give you a recipe for sausage roll batter, they are good for on the run.
