The're supre hard to find for under $800... they're so sought after. I've been trying to find a suitable pit-bike for a long time now. I think I might just spring for a newish Z50.

I found a 1980-1 for $500 obo, new chain, sprocket, and seat. What would be a good offer? Would 300 be too low?

500 isn't too high.. I would try for a deal, but don't feel bad if you have to pay 500.

why not just find something like an old xr80? That should be cheaper!

I was thinking that too.. the Z50's are in high demand all the time, and XR should be easier to find, and it has a real manual tranny with clutch as well.
