    Hmmm, that's tough.

My faves are the Sword of Truth series (still going, kinda sucking at the moment), the original Dragonlance Chronicles...

The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy series should be read by everyone!

The War of the Worlds is another good one.

And for the heck of it, Calvin & Hobbes!

I just read The Da Vinci Code and really enjoyed it. Jurassic park is a classic as well as most John Grishams. I was never really into the fantasy fiction genre so the books I read have to be somewhat realistic.

    The Hobbit
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Theres a couple classics I want to read (maybe this summer) like Dantes Inferno, Paridise, and Purgatory (not sure if they are seperate volumes though).
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”

Whats so good about The Da Vinci Code? We're looking for houses right now and almost every house I have viewed they usually have that book sitting on the nightstand or coffee table!

The book is based on 'clues' left in historic art as well as many museums / churches in Europe. I learned a couple things while reading it plus it is the sort of mystery where you're guessing all along what the solution to their next clue will be.

Da Vinci code is a great book - just read it about a month ago, and again recently.

It's probably not necessarily true, but it claims to be based on real historic facts and events.

I also like John Grisham. His books are pretty well written.

    "Robinson Crusoe" By Daniel Defoe

Some may find it dry but my favourite book ever.

Oh Yeah and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" one of my most memorable reads In my younger days.
