That looks like a late 90's (F1999 or F1998) car. Would've been more certain if you had a full pic of the front nose. Awesome find!

edit - it's car # is 1, which means MS won the championship the year before, meaning it's gotta be a F2001 or F2002, but the sides doesn't match the 2001 or 2002 models...

Like I said, a front shot would've been more certain.

Final edit - looks like the F2002 but with a small difference in one of the wings on the side. Mid year evolution car?

they had an exact replica made for the sema show a few years ago and i have a feeling thats what that is. the real f1s are kept in the ferrari plant in italy..some of them are actually for sale so maybe some rich dood from shells bought one...nonetheless, if i had seen that, i would have hugged it and sat in it until security threw my ass out!

I think maybe they just changed the name of the car to 1 because it was on display and they want people to think they're number 1 (a little psychological advertising ).

My dad was saying that shell is about to release a new line of fuels or something like that and that he thinks the car is going to be on display at the launch or something like that.

Will try to get more details asap. God i really hope our friend gets better pics. You can't get into the parkade without your ID card i believe, so unless you guys know someone who has access we're all outta luck.

My dad is leaving on business tomorrow so he can't go back there until next week!!! dammit his co worker better pull through with those pics.

it'll probably be blended gas if that's the case. ethanol? or methanol? its that alcohol you get as a by-product when you process wheat or something, and supposedly it is the fuel of the future there isn't a market large enough to support 96 octane regular gas.
