    Default Gundam models...

    i have some sudden urge of building some Gundam models.. anyone know where i can buy them at a fairly good price... like Cheaper than the ones In China town.. that little.. east.. something Mall

    or anywhere online.. I tried bidding on Ebay but the shipping is a killa... some charge as much as 13 US just within the US ( and they said its just regular mail that might take 45days- to 2 months.. wtf)...

    Have you tried PM hobby craft or Chinook and Hobby.
    I've seen some at PM hobby ( aka PMS ) they are the best for price and selection of plastic models...that goes for Model Cars. If they don't have any ask the person in charge of ordering plastic models. I forget his name but he said to me that if I have the part # the item he can prob order it. Chinook and Hobby is quite pricey and well there customer service is

    I won't support PM, had nothing but horrible service there.

    Its in the NE.

    If you want the best online store, try hobby link japan, http://www.hlj.com/ If I can't find a japanese model kit anywhere here, hlj always has it.

    Superstore used to have loads of them there for like $12 and less. I'm not sure if they carry them any more, but it's worth a look if you're around one. Your next bet is probably Toys R Us.

    I find that if you go to hobby stores to look for models, they tend to be a little more expensive. With that said, maybe Walmart?? But stick with the hobby stores if you're looking for a specific or special kit. Cheap stuff, hit the shopping marts.

    ouch...thats kinda expensive...dont you think?

    i have a friend that owns a model shop in dragon city....maybe he can give you a discount of something...second level..

    Man I have had nothing but good service there. The worst is Chinook and Hobby and Uncle Bill's for me oh yah the Guys at Hobby City are great. Sorry to here that. But then again when I go into a hobby store I don't ask too many questions.

    Yah, everyone's gonna have different experiences everywhere, but personally I've been treated like shit by PM on several occasions.

    go to dragon city in china town. all of the models are made in japan, I think. if you walking away from chinnok its the last building before the T intersection and its on the left. check it out. I haven't looked at prices but they have a kill selection.
