Is it possible to plug in a 20-pin power supply to a 24-pin motherboard? Or do I need to buy a convertor (20 to 24 pin) in order for it to work?
Power supply is a LC-B400ATX and motherboard is a Chaintech VNF4.

Converter is needed...
Nevermind, I asked Memory Express and they said it works fine plugging it in as it is. It works pretty good so far.
Yea, the extra 4 pins on the mb are (usually) just for 12v accessories.
so long as it's not one of those boards that require a ATX-GES / ATX-EPS power supply you are going to be ok
Whatawhat? I don't quite understand what that is... o_O
