What kind of output does the new motor have vs the old one??...I mean I know he gained 6 fwd gears...but couldn't you just have dont a tranny swap??

EDIT: He couldve done a euro swap, chipped it and gain more power than an S54.

What a waste of money. The S54 is a horrible engine, stock, or for modding. Dunno why anyone would want to attempt this at all.

No kidding, the real world speed differences from the S52 and S54 aren't much as the torque curves are very similar... at least in cars that don't weigh 3600lbs and under 100mph.
