for reps not a 1 time thing. I feel like a pus been stuck at 185 or 190 for some time now.
How about you??

How much should I be able to bench if I weigh 215? I work out just not on free weights.
You should be able to bench 215... you don't get there within a day though, takes some dedication. You should also be able to bench more than your weight after some serious training! I'm talking about barbell press not machine.Originally posted by BlkMaxima

btw next time you lie about your year of birth in your profile, take the time to figure out how old that actually makes you - hint: if you were born in 1985 like you said, you'd be 20, not 16.
I've taken part in more powerlifting meets/comps than I care to remember and I have yet to see a 150lb 16 year old put up 300lbs. If you could put up 2x your body weight theres no way you wouldn't be competing, but then again this is the internet, where every 14-18 year old kid can bench 300+ and squat half a ton what was I thinking
^ ahahah, Im 18, weight 165 dont bench lots but i can rep about 140-150 and i dont know maximum never tried..
I see. I only use certain machines cause they force you to do it properly. Or so I have been told!Originally posted by Eken9

Yup thats right, don't stray from the plain old bench and bar, machine are useless and don't develop your stabilizers at all.Originally posted by BlkMaxima

Stabilizers??? I focus more on cardio then anything so I don't know much about the other things. If I get any bigger it will be a bitch to find clothes that fit me.Originally posted by 1-Cent

Thats what the big and tall store is for bro! I think the one around here is called Tom's. Usually start at XXL and work up to about the size of a boat tarp lol. Theres no such thing as TOO BIGOriginally posted by BlkMaxima

I guess so but most of those stores are pricey right? That and the styles in those stores aren't as good as most stores in the malls!Originally posted by 1-Cent
