Default Need help on Civic repairs......

OK, my girlfriend was in getting quotes on body repairs to her car. ( 94 or 95 Hatch)
They seemed a bit ridiculous, so I was wondering if anyone had these body panels, or could reccomend another shop ( She went to A-1 i believe)
Hood ( Small Dent) - Told she needs a new hood $1100
Dent on Passenger Door and Rear Quarter Panel $2000
Rear Bumper ( Paid for by guy who hit her ) $600
All prices inlcude labour and paint.

The only one that seemed like a rip off was the hood . The parts for the hood were $390, and the rest in labour and paint. ( $700)

The dent on the passenger side was her fault, and ius pretty big, but still seems pretty high. $75 for the freakin side molding! It was cheaper on my A4.

Anyways, any reccomended body shops? Do these quotes sound ok? My first idea was to check the local junkers, but is there an easier/better way to do this??? Anyone have these parts?

Get a CF hood, and you don't even have to worry about painting it!

im gonna check out low cost autobody for my repairs, the problem with the hood is that the metal is not accesible from underneath, they have to remove the reinforcement

I don't think she really wants aftermarket, unless its fairly stock looking. I guess the big problem is the blending...

Sad but true...these prices are fairly accurate.

Another thing is that A-1 is the not only place that will do a good job repairing your Honda. Also, the price they pull up on the computer is never the price you'll end up paying...work out a deal.

Coming from A-1, most other "high profile" body shops will also charge very similiar.

I agree. You have been quoted $4,800 for all the items you listed. That's almost enough to buy a new 94 Civic...

Thats what I said to her, except her car has 94,000km, and I think she originally paid 11K I'm not sure how long ago though. INsurance from others is taking the majority of the costs though. The passenger side is the only thing she has to pay.
