INFO THREAD: PLEASE READ ME!

Summer is here! A great chance to meet other beyond members and show off your talents!

Location:

Edgemont/Hamptons Public Field (Across the street from Co-Op) just off Country Hills Blvd. NW. Private Message me (Skyline_Addict) or gkAeris for more details!

When:

We aim to hold this event bi-weekly on Sundays, pending on weather and interest. Time is usually in the afternoon, around 3:30 usually.

Requirements:

None, really. Skill level is irrelevant as this is a leisurely event. It's a great way to have a good work out while meeting your fellow beyond members! Basically, just bring yourself and some friends who would be interested in playing! Gear (cletes/shin guards) are optional. No one plays too rough or competitively.

note: PLEASE TRY TO BRING a DARK colored and a LIGHT colored shirt so we can make teams.

Why beyond.ca Soccer is fun!:

-meet other beyond members
-have fun/get a workout playing a fun team-sport
-weather is nice, and in Calgary it doesn't last long! enjoy it while you can!
-the field is awesome. goal posts have nets, great location, good pitch.



Signing up:

Simply post a message indicating if you are interested in coming and if you are bringing others with you.
The list will be updated regularly, and hopefully we can get enough people to get an exciting (full) game going!
The event seemed to die off a little after the first game!

I'm interested in playing but I work every Sunday and would'nt ever make it to the game until at least 4:00 PM. How long do you guys normally play for?

like the info says, skill is irrelevant! its all in good fun and non-contact, unless you know the other player then it gets phsical haha.

most people show up late anyhow
and on top of that it takes a while before a game actually gets started. so if you could get there by around 4 - 415, the game would've just started.
