I have a 98 Neon and am looking 4 a body kit. I'm leaning more towards an Evo kit but would like suggestions.

Or you can spend about 30 and get an SRT4..
if you want a good kit get the blitz kit or the boss one lol i used to own on of these i'm fucking glad i sold it to some moron 16 year old.
Don't listen to the haters. I think the Zenon kit looks the best for a 1st gen neon.
but you should think about lowering it and putting wheels on it first, before you even consider a kit.
Bunch of haters in here, atleast I'm not trying to be like everybody else and goin out and getting a Honda, there's way too many of those out there and they all look the same. Be original and not like everybody else people. Anyways, I just asked a simple question and wanted some input. I'm gonna lower my car and put rims on it first before I get a kit.

Lets not start wars here, as much as many of you don't like neons, he does have the right to mod his car, anyway, I'd say after lowering and rims, you should look into either a paint job, or get a kit that is very subtle, nothing extreme, just find something that flows with the lines of the cars, or sink thousands into the engine and have a nice sleeper .
and be nice, I'm a Honda owner now
He has the right to modify his neon like a woman has the right to get an abortion. Though they are both legal, either one will end up with protests happening as they are both a controversial subject.Originally posted by DannyO

jsut search for kits at any of the car websites and choice one you like, most likely you wont listen to these peoples opinions anyways.

Wings West
Xeon
Aero Gear
Kaminari
There a blitz style, buddy club, street fighter, Spyder...... etc
One of the sponsors from the forum would be able to ehlp you out or talk to Apex Performance in Edmonton.
Andy's Auto Sport
(the last 2 kits that i have seen requires lots of body work but that would be a general comments for Andy Sport kits - maybe they have improved?!?)
JSP Sells - CF fenders, Decklid
Actually I think most of us don't recomend a body kit for any neon
Machining, Fabricating, Welding etc.
(the majority of cars with body kits look tacky anyways)
Most likey you will grow out of the ricer stage (don't worry everyone goes through it) and realize that most cars look better without body kits, and at that time you will wish you spent your ~$2000 on something else. So evaluate your decision carefully.
yeah there good kits but a neon is a different choice it would stand out but be careful i'd just go sleeper then put some yuppie drivng a VW or a (dont get mad) 93 civic hatch.
ya i agree, the guy who owns Phillips Ice Cream lives down my street and has a nice Blue neon, it goes liek shit im sure, but he didnt put a kit or anything to drastic on it, jsut nice a clean, really the way a neon should be.Originally posted by \JCAR/

Not a 1st gen, but putting the kit on my 2nd gen completed the void.
I think its clean, and flows well with the car. Flame on if you must.
