Mr Finn was my teacher 2 years ago.

1 day till the cruise....I accidentally left my phone turned on in my car at work today...get off work.....27 missed calls....yay..

Ironic how everyones cars break before this weekend.

good to see you got the headgasket fixed 240.

Also sucks that my car is running crappy....I just dont get it, runs awsome 1 week, crappy the next....

I might have been in your class. The first year he came to LCI I was in grade 10. So I started right after Mr. Rhymes left.

    probobly....but not definate.

the guys doing tech are generally more woried about mechanics working properly...

its not like a car will be following right behind you and need to be notified when your braking.

    Anyone got pics or video??

I couldn't go.... All I know is that Derek after many sleepless nights got his 1100 rwhp turbo Mustang together. but could not make a decent run in the 100 footers. Apparantly his first was a funny car style 100 foot burnout after which there was so much smoke in the car, he had to air it out.... He got the "Fan Favourite" award for that... His only "decent run" I heard was a 2.0 and top mph. Electrical gremlins have him convinced to ditch the Tec 3 and buy a new efi system....

Another sleeples guy... Mark with the 1996 LS1 Vortech Camaro (8SECZED) apparantly got his stuff together to win his class! Congrats Mark, man after 2 trips to Calgary for "wee hours" dyno time, a few blower belts .... lol and all those nights, you deserve it man !!

official vodeo will be out in a month or so....actually a couple teenage kids (my age) make the videos...

Call Rob if you want one.....328-9834

Pics will go into a giant photo album...can get doubles if you want them...

And that turbo mustang was crazy, supposedly 8.1 in the 1/4....and he had NO traction...even though we have about 25ft of concrete at the start and a THICK layer of VHT all the way to the end. You can barely walk on the concrete pad without loosing your shoes......nice guy too, he trusted me with keeping his laptop safe.

I heard the camaro also did very well, but I was never there to see it...to busy doing what needed to be done...

There was some very impressive cars there....My daytona broke down so I couldnt race it...battery not charging, found a melted plastic fuse hold going to computer....I think thats what im gonna fix tonight. I think I still would have lost to the volkswagon bug (winner of my class), but I probobly would have came second in that class.

Fathers car was a 1964 rambler, did not do so hot, little bit of traction problems, but missing 800hp worth of nitrous hurt him the most.....ran 2.4 I think....competition gets more fierce every year.

That Model T was pretty crazy. I'm pretty sure it ran a 1.8. Just a little bit faster than the turbo Mustang.

Yep, the Mustang is insane. 8'1 at 177 mph on some shake down runs. He should see 7's this year of all goes well....

His last run went sideways on him near the top, adn had the ambulance crew running for cover lol.... crazy Polak satyed in it and car went up on 3 wheels... 2.0 with some confusion about his mph....

and that was my laptop so thank-you

The T-Bucket I heard was an insaane machine. 572 cubic inches with a 10-71 blower on top lol He went 1.89 I think....

I think it would be wise for him to invest in a neck brace. That was pretty crazy.

Pics will be on the site in about a week.
They are printed already, we have the coolest pic of the guy in that yellow T-bucket.

It shows im just after launching, close up, holding on the the steering wheel for dear life, his face skin is stretching, and it looks like his head is gonna snap off his neck.
