    Default Where can i get a 28 pin EEPROM chip?

    Hey i need a spare 28 pin EEPROM chip for my ECU. I'm looking for something like the SST 27SF512 or the Atmel 29C256, where in Calgary can i get these chips?

    I'm not too sure where you can find them in Calgary, But I would say your best bet would be to place an order with digikey. I had a project member in school who ordered alot of parts from them for our project and other parts aside from school on a regular basis.They are pretty quick to deliver and reliable.

    I've used Digikey before, relatively impressed with them. If you're looking for something local, try MRO electronics, or Active.
    Either of them could probably get the EEPROM for you.

    If you buy them from active, they will most likely have to order them in....which means you will have to buy an entire "stick" of chips which is prob too much. I bought 29c256's from arrow electronics online.
