    Question Right Hand Drive Cars

In a manual right hand drive what is the set up like for the pedals and the shifter.

    Is it Option 1:

    1 3 5
    2 4 R

with the pedals like Clutch Brake Gas left to right.

    or

    Option 2

    5 3 1
    R 4 2

with the pedals Gas Brake Clutch left to right.

    Dose that make sense?

Just wondering if anyone could help me out

    THANKS
    DAVE P

Pedals are in the same place, as are the gears. Its just that you sit in the left side.
Also, the lights and wiper controls will be flipped, at least I've noticed that in Japanese cars anyways.

What throws me off is German cars and their reverse on the far left.

wiper and signals are flipped so you keep turning on your wipers when you want to signal.

yah the gearbox and shifting pattern is exactly the same as left hand drive cars. the clutch is on the left with gas on the right with brake in center.

yah the wiper control switch is on the left and signal swith is on the right

My Chrysler Duster actually had Reverse on the left like in German Cars, really Wierd.......not sure what the actual reason is for it, but it makes more sense for Reverse to be beside lower Gears, so if for some reason a "mis-shift" occured, it wouldnt be nearly as bad...compared to say a 5th-4th downshift gone bad...thats my reasoning anyway.
