Default [FS] 1986 Lamborghini Countach 5000S

The car belongs to a friend of mine. This is, of course, a private sale so there is no GST on top of the asking price at $123,000 CDN. It was appraised at over $160,000 if memory serves. The car is located here in Calgary and the only test drive will be given to the buyer with a deposit on the vehicle.

All the fine details are up on a web-site dedicated to this vehicle. Click here for that website.
The car is originally a rare euro spec. carb'd version (more hp than the fuel injected version). Reg at RCTS and Vladimir who have built several successful One Lap of America cars together (formerly the Cannonball run) built this Countach to make it a more enjoyeable exotic. It has had easily over $60,000 invested into it to make it the best driving Countach around. If you want to keep a stock Countach tucked away in the garage, they should be an easy find elsewhere.

The motor was rebuilt and blue-printed back to factory specs (48 valves). The clutch has been done, suspension bushings have been done (wear from age), there are now 6 individual Weber down-draft carbs that run many times better than the stock carbs. The carbs also cleared up unneccessary components around the radiators and increased air flow and thus cooling capacity (a problem with other countachs in hot weather).

Even the exhaust system was built with custom baffles in the muffler that was taken apart a few times to get the sound of the vehicle just right.

Starts great, drives spectacular, no other one like it... If you know someone interested in an exotic, I would definetely urge a look at this one.

If you've looked through and need more information send me a PM. Or contact me via number on the site.

I'm assuming it was also dyno'd at RCTS, any specs on that? I'm sure potential buyers would love to know what it puts down

Sorry man but there's a tiny percent of people on this site that can afford a car like this... and a tiny percent of them may be looking for a car.

Try lamborghini-power.com and ferrarichat.com, I'm a member of both those sites and they should help.

Thanks for the links, I will have to try on there as well. I agree with your statement, but I think that most of us know at least one person that could afford this car. It is definetely a great car.

As for the dyno, it was dynoed at RCTS a few years back, although I don't recall the numbers. What's really impressive about having 12 cylinders isn't so much the peak numbers like on some $$$$ Supra, it's the flat torque curve and driving at any rpm.
