Default Fs: Bfg Geforce 6800 Gt Oc Agp8x 256mb 256bit

    Up for grabs:

BFG GEFORCE 6800 GT OC AGP8X 256MB 256BIT DDR3 VGA DVI S-VIDEO OUT VIDEO CARD

    RETAIL VALUE (+ GST) = $498.89 - Prices from NCIX.com

ASKING PRICE = $380 FIRM - WILL NOT GO LOWER

Please PM Me if you are interested.

These cards have a lifetime warranty on them.

    ====================================

A big advantage of the BFG 6800 GT OC is that it is overclocked out of the box pitting it almost squarely in between the stock GT and stock Ultras that most other manufacturers will produce with the Ultra having under a 10% clockspeed advantage. Memory is on par as well with the Ultra sporting about a 10% advantage in raw memory bandwidth.
The BFG 6800 GT does not come with a lot of extras unfortunately. The standard Y adapter and DVI->VGA converter are included as well as a driver CD, Quick Install Guide and a demo disc. The demo disc does contain some newer games such as Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, Silent Storm and Painkiller. No high profile pack in like Call of Duty this time around though let's keep our fingers crossed for a DOOM 3 pack in when it finally shows up on shelves.

There are a couple new things on the NVIDIA control panel with regards to overclocking. Under the manual option, they have a "Detect Optimal Frequencies" button. Using this resulted in several tests that took around two minutes in total before the sliders adjusted themselves to a whopping 428 Mhz core and a 1.11 Ghz memory clock. The headroom on the GT seems pretty amazing if this our particular test sample is any indication of the ability of the retail cards. Not only are we past 6800 Ultra speeds but we are also surpass BFG's 6800 Ultra OC specs (425 Mhz). Something else to ponder is that the GT is a single slot, single molex solution compared to Ultra which utilize dual slots and dual molex connectors. The BFG 6800 GT OC stayed stable and artifact free for over an hour looping in 3DMark03. Attempts to push the core a few extra megahertz beyond the Optimal Frequency setting resulted in a lockup in 3DMark so the limit is very close to the 428 detected by the driver software. Unlike the Ultra based cards, the GT series seem to be going with the single DVI single D-Sub connectors for the video out. This might be an issue for those with dual LCDs.

There is a lot to like about the BFG 6800 GT OC. It is hard to go wrong with BFG as a company; they have one of the best, if not the best support in the industry. I mean who else mans their phones 24/7? A lifetime warranty is not a bad thing either.

$375?! Are you kidding? You'll be paying $100 more for the card new, locally, and that'd be for an Asus that only has 3 years warranty (as opposed to BFG's lifetime warranty).

What he's asking is more than fair. Just because he's used it for a few months doesn't mean it devalues by half - especially considering it has lifetime warranty. His card also comes with guaranteed overclock values - something you'd be taking a chance on buying new.

Bump for a kickass card at a kickass price. It's his perogative, but he's going to be able to get better than $375 for it.

things is, who wants to stick with AGP. I mean Magic himself is probably moving to PCI-e and AMD(Venice owns joo) if he knows what is good for him

But I dont think 375 is unfair, definately low though. You can find 6800 GT PCI-e new for $450 or less, within Canada

I think that was a price error and was only honoured for the lucky few or you got it hot.

I assume there's still some warranty left for this sucker?

    $190 for a 6800GT? Are you sure it's not a 6600GT or something?

i paid 650 when this card came out. i think what he's asking is way too low for what the card can actually do. i'd buy this card again for at least 450 if i saw it, and pc hardware doesnt de-value with use if it still works, only age. and this card isnt even a year old yet.

$389.95 for a normal BFG OC new(not GT).
    $549.95 for a Asus GT.

PCI-e cards are at the same speeds as AGP right now, so it will make no difference between the 2.

Bump for a Sick card and a Awesome price.

Well, that sure helps us buyers out. Can anyone get it at this price or are you just "showing off" that you bought it at such a low price? :P
