    Default Motorcycle Course

    Hi everyone.
I am looking for a beginner motorcycle course.
I am just wondering where in Calgary you recommend,
    and prices etc. for it.

    Thanks for all your help.

Too Cool gets talked up here a lot. They mostly use Ninja 250s or similar, and I think they cost more than the other courses in town.

I took mine through Easy Rider. They use 20-year-old Hondas, but the instruction is great. They ran about $300-350. Grab the brochure at any bike dealership in town, pretty much.

I took mine through the Calgary Safety Council and enjoyed it. They use a mix of bikes(standards, dirtbikes and cruisers) so you get a good mix.

I used to teach with the Calgary Safety Council years ago, and can really recommend the program. I took it when I started riding and although the course isn't the only reason, I have over a decade and a half and over 100,000 km of accident free riding. I also hear very good things about Too Cool, but don't have any firsthand knowledge of them.

Good for starting with a course though. As important as helmets are, the most critical component for safe riding is what you put inside your head rather than on it.

    Good luck!

If you're hot, Stefan's Riding School is most recommended!

    don't go for cheap.
I took a course that was really inexpensive.. and they had the shittiest bikes, and worst instructions..

it's your life.. it's worth the extra hundred or so..

do safety council or Too Cool..
I might be wrong, but Safety Council's instructors went to too cool..
