    Not an uncommon occurance, just VERY rare to see it captured on film.
    Drag racing is for fast cars. Solo 2 is for fast drivers.

    Might have cooked some electronics on the airplane, but you're quite safe when that happens. The cabins are fairly well insulated, eletrically. They have to design with lightning strikes in mind when they build the airplanes. It would be freaky as all hell, but it isn't really dangerous.

    Y'know Mary, there is really nothing to worry about. Statisticly you are more likely to get killed on the way to the airport, y'know like in a head on crash, or flying off a cliff...or getting trapped under a gas truck, THATS the WORST! I have this cousin...well, I had this cousin...

    ive always heard of lightning hitting planes, but this is my first time seeing it...

    Y'know Mary, there is really nothing to worry about. Statisticly you are more likely to get killed on the way to the airport, y'know like in a head on crash, or flying off a cliff...or getting trapped under a gas truck, THATS the WORST! I have this cousin...well, I had this cousin...
