Default 2001 Accord V6 Vs. 2001 Prelude SE

Both Cars automatic, both have about the same amount of mileage - what is quicker from the factory?

i would get the accord.. i have drive both cars alot.. and i find that the prelude is a "womans car".. there is absolutely no leg room in that car when u drive.. and if ur a bit taller then 5 '7 then ur gonna have trouble gettin in the car.. the accord on the other hand has much more room.. a lil more power.. but weighs heavier.. but i like it alot more then the prelude.. i am talkin about the accord v6 coupe buy the way..
and yea of course a lude will lose to a teg.. tegs are lighter.. same amount of power i bet..

I would say the accord V6. I have driven both and I found the accord to be a pretty fast car for how big it is. My money would be on the accord.

ok, ure dumb. the prelude is not more womanly than te accord. im 5'11 and i have no problems fitting in a prelude. the accord DOES not have more power than the prelude. both are 200hp. there is no such phrase in the english language as "weighs heavier". and there are different models of prelude and tegs which arent all the same speed. and no, they dont have the same amount of power. try 200 vs 140. my god, whats wrong with u?

I'm 6'3" and I have no problem fitting in my Lude.

The Prelude would win against the Accord

Also what kind of teg are you talking about that can beat a lude? In my eyes I think an srv can beat a gsr but probably not a type r.

    It also depends

He said a Prelude SE Auto

Well, it probaly won't beat a GSR (5 spd Lude will win)

But it will beat a GS, RS, LS

But Prelude SE Auto will beat an Accord V6 Auto, I know I raced one.

But now with the mods I have, I can beat a lot of cars

    Best Kills so far

    Pontiac Trans AM WS6
    Mustang 5.0 and 4.6 liters

Don't ls, gs, rs all have the same engines anyways? What mods have you done to your lude to able to beat a trans am ws6?

That was my race, and yes, I did beat it and there were tons of people there to see it. And it happened several times, never once did the lude come close.

But i'm just wondering if a stock auto lude SE was quicker from the factory than a stock Accord V6. Both have the same power, but I think the accord has more displacement from the bigger engine.

who's this guy driving an auto SE and losin' to everyone? He needs to give up his prelude or stop racing cuz he ain't representin' the 5th gen too well. Even an auto SE should be able to beat a B18B integra! As for the race between a V6 auto accord and auto SE, i'll give the race to the accord because of the extra torque.

wow beaten a Z06? your lude must have MAD HP and Torque close to 400Plus? by the way a Z06 can do 0-60mph in 4.3 sec and 1/4mile in 12.7s pretty fast lude you got there..

Then I have beaten a Porsche 911 TURBO lol

V6 Coupe AUTO is faster than a Prelude AUTO. The prelude can only do 8.0s 0-60mph with the sequential shifter and V6 coupe can do it in less than 8.0s.
