The boys in blue just blocked 8th ave and 7th street... there was a bomb threat at the Hong Kong Bank... and of course stupid me (an my co-workers) went down to watch... hehe.. but that was before we found out that it was a bomb threat...

Here is the email we got...
Police were called to First Alberta Place this afternoon to investigate a package found near the building. They determined it was a legitimate delivery left unattended by a courier. No further action was taken.

There was a bomb threat at my work last fall (Mount Royal College). Gotta love those afternoons off. My boss ended up buying us beer and munchies at Bass Bros. all afternoon! :mrgreen:

I might be driving downtown tommorrow, the SW edge of the city should be quiet hopefully. Plus I have to take my sister to work as well. If it aint, I'll have to back out and walk or something.
I'm actually more worried taking the LRT, I think they might target that, they block the track, LRT is stuck. I don't want to cook in an LRT car while packed like sardines, people smell bad, especially in 32 degree weather
If worse comes to worse, I'll have to unleash the old family tank!
