    Default Recommend a dentist?

Maybe this should be in general...I dunno.

Can anyone recommend a good dentist place to go down in the southwest, shawnessy/evergreen area?

I have lived in Calgary for a few years but haven't found a dentist yet.

    It's time I went, thanks.

Ahah most people like their dentists, so I'll post mine. My wife switched and says he's better than her old hack.

Only 1 small cavity so far, so must be doing something right.

I dont know if it's too far north, but I see Dr Yu at westhills, really good, and every time I've been there, there has been at least one really cute receptionist.

Fuck I went to wrong dentist last week!

Hadn't gone to a dentist in over a decade, and I drove by a new practice the week before.

I went to the one right by the new Costco in the South.

hey i am looking for a dentist as well but do you guys know if any dentist that follow the blue cross cost schedule.....

Its because i found that many dentists jack up there prices so your blue cross doesn't cover the entire bill... I am also thinking i need a surgeon to get my wisdom teeth out so where would be a good place to go....

By the way this is my current coverage....

    80% standard cleaning and checkups
50% perondontics(SP???) this is what wisdom teeth extraction would be under right???

Oh by the way i live in the north in beddington

    Concept Dentistry.
They are right by the LRT station at Fish Creek (146 Ave).
I liked their approach, here is what needs to be done take a look and see what works for you.
When I needed to get my TMJ appliance they were really accomodating and are not pushing me to get the final treatment done. They are even going to let me keep my wisdom teeth

A cute and competent dental hygienist is way more important! She spends more time with you than anyone else in the dentist's office.

I just had my wisdom teeth taken out at this place by Dr. Karin Potter:

    Fusion Dental

Friendly and accomodating staff, and very flexible hours.

Try Dr. Sean Pederson on Southland Dr. Had a couple fillings there a few weeks ago. He's an excellent dentist and administers pain free needles!!!

I found that his rates are lower than most clinics because they do not have all the fancy TVs and such in the rooms.

    Dr. Phan in midnapore.
He shares the same office as Dr. Briam Palmer.
He's a super guy to talk to (we chat about F1 and other racing), does excellent work, very gentle (I have hardly any pain after he works on me, even after a root canal), they are very helpful when you have to pay.
And quite a few of his assistants are good looking

Dr. Alvin Kwok at ASK Dental Clinic on the corner of 14th St. & Northmount Dr. NW

He's really good, & VERY hygenic.
He is also certified in almost everything, so yes, he can do wisdom teeth extractions.
    He did mine! lol

In Shawnessy shopping center there's a Pet store by Timmy's. On the second floor above the pet store is a dentist. Can never remember the name.

Take Blue cross, great attitude, entertainment.

There is a great Richmond Hill dentist in the southern Calgary area. The dental office offers same day emergency dental care and is open evenings and weekends.

I was going to make a suggestion, but ended up taking one instead.
I think I'll be heading over Westhills from now on lol
