it is the same company and a lot of it gets shipped out of the states. Yes you will pay brokerage etc from amazon.com. I had to on some technical books that weren't listed on amazon.ca

I have ordered from amazon.com a few times and didn't have to pay and customs fees. But, the books were delivered to the university and research items are not taxable, so perhaps thats why?

Ok thanks. The item I want is not available on amaon.ca. I think I'll continue to look for a canadian retailer.
