Default Beyond Summer cruise planning thread

    Summe cruise:

    Destination:
Thinking about somewhere south, with a nice road other than trans can or number 2 (think theres a few, dont have to be a lake... a nice good looking road with limited traffic and good scenery.

Time: End of Aug? Aug 14, 21 or 28,
    IDEAS!?

For your reference here's what happened a month ago in the spring cruise:

    PICS:

Hoping that we can get more cars out this time, due to the weather we only had 30ish in June.

Also, think of somthing we can do or go to at that place... a restuarant or attraction or something.. We need some real good planning this time! nothing random!!!!!
    Thanks

    3 hours or so?

Depending on which way down, the limited traffic doesnt come into effect until after being south of lethbridge/fort mac.

I like the road from lethbridge to waterton, but its a longer drive going that route.

yeah then that IMHO seems a lil far...I mean 8 hours of a drive on a Sunday...we would have to leave fairly early.

hmmm...The Nissan guys I think did a Drunheller cruise...how about that??...see I dont know distances and am too lazy to look them up haha...

1.5 to 2 hours. Would make for some nice photos though, and Horseshoe canyon is wicked to hike around.

Downside is the roads are straight

Here is an idea for you:

Go out to through Bragg Creek to Highway 40 which turns into the 541 and pop out at highway 22 go North to Black Diamond and go to the only soda shop left in North America!!
