I know the recycling depot in Airdrie takes computers, monitors, whatever, free fo charge. Not sure about Calgary, though.
Bring em to Compusmart on macleod right across from chenook, they recycle all sorts of old computer equipment, even tvs up to 27" in size. Just bring it into the store adn there are big bins at the back left corner
You can also take them to Maxus Recycling if you are closer to the NE or to Crowfoot CompuSmart if you are in the NW.
