Yes it will be hard to get a seat. It's stupid busy every year. I work dt so on parade day you have to come in early before the close the roads off. At 7am there's already tons of people. If you want a good seat you need to be downtown before 6am.
George likes his Kung Pao spicy!
^^
ya for sure bcuz most of the tourists also think first and get a hotel room in the downtown core so the can just pop outside and grab a seat early without car/bus or anything like that just a 2 min walk..![]()
Benyl and I will probably be making the trip down...I really wanna practise my photo taking...and I think the parade will be a great environment.

I work in a building on 6ave, 5th floor. Right across from A-channel, best seat EVER! and its PAID too
I'll be there as well, have cousins over from Ontario who are small and would like to see it, hell its going to be my first time seeing it and I live in Calgary haha.
Going to end up burning to death, its going to be hot as hell tomorrow.
what is a DECENT time to get there at to have a good seat?
Do we need to bring lawnchairs or anything or is there enough seating in the bleachers?
parades are so lame lol, at least this one.
YEEEEEEEHAA! oh plz![]()

showed up around 9:30 at 8th and 9th and had a spot on the concrete barrier. Stayed for about 2 hours then jet. It was amusing to watch people fight for our newly vacated position on the route. It's fun to check out the parade, part of the Stampede.
I wish I had known about this parade yesterday. Not sure if I would have wanted to see it or not, but I definitely would not have gone to sleep at 7 AM with my window on the corner of 9th street and 6th avenue open. Man.
i just think parades are so boring, unless it was one in disneyland than its another story...you can feel like a kid again there.
Ive always said to myself, I would hate to be walking through that parade route and have to hold up a sign or flag/banner whatever for the entire time. haha.
the funniest thing is the float that got the loudest cheer out of the whole damn thing was the simplest and smallest one....
it was some guy in a dog suit
