ya true enough, there are more bad pics than good. it sure is a shit show in iraq right now. not everything the US does is evil, but it mostly isnt good thats for sure. if the US was so concerned about the people of iraq, to go in and "liberate" them, i can think of a lot of other countries whose people need liberating or need help jsut as much or more. but it doesnt serve the interest of the US, so no dice.

What the US soldiers do in iraq, good and bad, should be held accountable. The administration that put them there in the first first place should be held accountable more than anyone else.

Although I'm sure that individual actions of many soldiers are kind and generous, in the end, it's only their actions as a whole that matter. Unfortunately, those actions are less then stellar.

evil = assholes like Saddam Husien

lesser evil = assholes like George Bush

Good men = anyone that fights the bigger evil

good men doing nothing = that is what happened for close to
10 years after Saddam Hussien backed out of Kuwait. He never should have been allowed to stay in power, and murder and masacre his own people.

good men acomplishing nothing = This is all the good men that sat on the sidelines while the US did something about it

good men doing the right thing = not likely to ever happen without some kind of bad politics to taint their efforts.

Canada = I am sorry to say that (wrt to the Iraq war) we really showed our passive nature, and it makes me in disgust.
