    ive heard nothing but good things about this camera!! i think there have even been some posts on here about it.
    I want to pick one up....can anyone hook me up or have one for sale?

    i remember futureshop had a sale on a little while ago for 349.99 i think, and now, they're back at 449.99..
    i now, i am mr cheap, but hey, money is money, i want to spend it as wise as possible

    there is not much markup on those, 449 is an outstanding price for what that cam can do.

    dont think non-refurbished will ever get any cheaper...
    rite now the cheapest you can get online is about 250 USD X 1.64 X 1.07 + shipping

    I don't like buying refurbished items... I don't think they're as good cause really they've been used and returned for whatever reason....

    I bought my s200 on that $349 doorcrasher from boxing day... it's such a great camera, you're right nothing but good things to say... and the battery lasts longer than 20 minutes

    Backto the refurbished one, you could buy it and the extended warranty then send it back on warranty work... short it out somehow so thye have to get you a NEW camera....

    I got one of those cameras from Soundsaround for 347! Sweet camera, good quality pics and decent price. Canon is a little overpriced (you can get other cameras with the same 2mp resolution for cheaper) but Ive noticed the Canon usually takes nicer quality pics. Go for it, no regrets from it at all.
